Changing Bags And Baby Buys

We had been trying for a baby for a while so when I finally fell pregnant I was so excited. We decided it would be a good idea to keep it under wraps for a while. The temptation to tell was huge but I decided that I would have to find a passtime that would keep me busy. Now what ever could a mum-to-be do to keep herself busy? Shopping of course, surfing the internet to find all those intersting things that I would really, really need. OMG what a plethora of babyphernalia! I really was impressed with all the innovative products that are around and how many products are designed to make your life with a new baby easier. There are obviously lots of difficulties to over come with a new baby and it sems that someone has designed a product for each and everyone of them. One of my favourite things was the Baby and All Bags. They are changing bags that can quickly be used as a baby carrier and still carry everything else you need. Naturally that got added to my wish list. When it came to strollers, the choice seemed overwhelming, so I did loads of research and decided that the Valco Baby Ion ticked all my boxes. Something I had no idea about was bathing babies and then again there were various options. There were the little upright buckets, the collapsible rubber baths and the soft supports to lie your baby in. I chose the bath support and also ordered a soft Cuddledry towel to help with bathing as it keep your hands free to deal with baby. For my baby’s first bed I chose a Moses basket with a stand which was kept beside our bed and this proved really useful as you can literally pick up your sleeping baby to keep them near you. There is loads of gorgeous soft bedding for babies in organic bamboo and cotton and it so hard to know when to stop. Having a baby on the way gives a whole new meaning to shopping! Now that mine are that bit older I still enjoy looking around the baby department and carefully choosing gifts for friends and their newborns.
