Breast Feeding Facts – Food That Be Avoided

Breast feeding is important and it should be given absolute care! There are certain factors that a mother should consider while breast feeding. While feeding the child, the mom must be strict in diets and must have to take care what she is taking in. Either you eat it directly or indirectly, your food will be right away transmitted to the little baby through breast milk. Here is the list of some foods that you must avoid while breast feeding.

Stay away from spicy foods – While nursing the child with breast milk, taking in of spicy foods should be strictly controlled. Breast milk feeding mothers must avoid taking chilly, curry, chocolate, garlic and cabbage, as these foods will lead to flatulence in the little child. These foods will challenge in digestion and considering all these facts, spicy food stuffs. Any breast feeding mother who wanted to have good night sleep must take a glass of milk and finally feed the child prior sleeping. This will give complete concealment.

Avoid taking some juice types – Most new born children will adversely react to some juice types. Particularly juice that is rich in Vitamin C will affect them seriously. Juices including tomatoes, grapefruit, lemon and oranges should be strictly kept away while breast feeding. Taking these juices will make the little child to suffer with cold and cough.

Avoid substances that are caffeine rich – Substances that are caffeine rich must be strictly avoided by the children. The substances will include tea, coffee, soda, and medicines. Though moderate intake of caffeine drinks will not affect the baby health, but regular and frequent intake of caffeine will lead to disorders. The baby’s sleep pattern will be troubled and this makes the mom to be up all the night.
